In 2009 the villagers of Ni’lin were suffering so hard and payed an unbearbly high price for the non-violent protests against the wall. Not only were they beaten, arrested and shot at, but also all inhabitants lost their work permits and were unable to feed their families.
To help all those who were suffering from the wall and opressed and who didn’t have a voice, my father established a non-profit organization, called “Ni’lin’s Sons”, to support the people to stand steadfast against the wall and don’t fear the Israeli opression.
They also funded a Media Center where all the injustice and wrong-doing and violence against us is being documented as part of our resistance. Both are connected to the Popular Struggle Against The Apartheid Wall. Everyone can contribute what they filmed or photographed during our resistance.
My uncle Hamoudh Saeed Amireh has filmed, produced and edited a video that shows our father Ibrahim and the two other leaders of the Popular Committee and lets my mother and my grandparents about our suffering.
My name is Saeed Ibrahim Amireh, I am 18 years old and I have been born and raised in Ni'lin, in the Westbank. During the summertime, I love to sleep on the rooftop of our house. When I see the beautiful stars, I dream to travel to far away places and meet people from all over the world. I can see the Mediterranean Sea from our roof. Often, I imagine what it is like to be at the beach and see the sun go down. I have never been to the sea because Israel does not allow us to go there.
One week before the final exams in 12th grade, Israeli soldiers raided our house in the middle of the night, locked the whole family but me in a room, beat me, destroyed my room and arrested me. I was in jail for 4 months. They kept me in a small cell in complete darkness, with mice and cockroaches everywhere. They beat, threatened, and interrogated me constantly. To this date I know nothing about why they even arrested me, other than to punish my father for his non-violent activity in the "Popoular Committee Against The Wall".
I've always dreamt to study and become a communication engineer. But since my father is in jail, me and my older brother have to work and take care of our mother and our small siblings.
I miss my father so much, I would give anything for him to be free. But I am not even allowed to go and visit him in jail. Only my mother is allowed; she could go visit him for the first time after he was imprisoned for 4 months.
Like all the villagers of Ni'lin, I wish I could taste the flavour of freedom just once.

Thanks for the adress of donation, Saeed.
Can you also give the adress of your father ? So we can write him.
It is a shame for the Israeli government that they have confined your father without a right on defense and that you can not visit your own father.
The ‘democratic’ State of Apartheid of Israel has ratified the following treaties:
1. the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights
2. the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights
3. the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of
racial Discrimination
4. the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination
Against Women
5. the Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or
Degrading Treatment or Punishment
6. the Convention on the Rights of the Child
7. the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child
on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography.
We will write to international organisations for the violation of these fundamental human rights.
The problem is that the families of prisoners are isolated by the confinement in prison of their relatives.
You have to contact the family of other prisoners. So you can change ideas and information.
Contact Janan Abdu, the husband of Ameer Makhoul, an Israeli-Palestinian human rights activist who was false accused of ‘spying for Hamas’.
He was tortured in prison to force him to confess guilt.
His rights are also continuously violated. http://www.facebook.com/jananabdu
Please tell me if there is a fund for your father. I do not have much but I wish to donate.
